Castera takes stock of the Dakar 2020: “We focused on sporting fairness”
What is your overall assessment, one week after the finish of the event in Qiddiyah?
First of all, great satisfaction. We delivered this test on time without any problem. On a sporting level, it was a good Dakar, with a lot of battles that lasted until the end. And there were no stage cancellations, apart from a few special shortenings for well-understood reasons (a sandstorm and helicopter safety problems in stage 10, then work on the track in the final step.Editor's note).
