Hello Patrick. What is this big BMW you are driving around in?
It may make one cringe from an ecological point of view, but in the United States where we are for 1000 Miles of Sebring (March 17, 2023. Editor's note), it's the same rental price as a small car. Gasoline being much cheaper than in Europe, you might as well treat yourself. In Brazil, I have a Citroën Aircross, but I only ride a scooter. The car is only for when it rains.
In Brazil ?
In Ribeirão Preto (town located in the southeast of the country. Ed.), more precisely. It was friends who introduced me to this university town 300 km from São Paulo during my first visits to the country. It is a city dear to my heart since I also met Patricia, my wife, there. It was the first weekend of my first week working for Guto Black (the father of André Negrão whose career Grandidier manages. Editor’s note). It’s been more than twenty years and since then two children – now 14 and 18 years old – have joined the family.
