Hello Pierre-Brice! Or rather “PBM” as you call yourself on Instagram. Which vehicle did you choose for our meeting?

This is a Renault 5 Turbo that I borrowed, it only has 15 km on the clock and has beautiful Gotti rims. I love it ! It’s my French side that comes out, even in the Middle East.

What was your background before we knew you through the GPX entities?

To begin with, I'm not from Paris or Dubai. After his medical studies, my father settled in Angoulême (Charente), where I was born…

Oh yes it's true ! I don't think about it often, but from birth I was somehow connected to motorsport. (Laughs) My parents weren't interested in racing at all. But because of his job, my father was often asked to officiate at races. When I was 8 years old, he took me with him to a kart race. There, I saw children my age... on the other side of the barriers, on the track! When I got home, I told him: "I want to be like them, drive a kart." At the time, it wasn't easy, because not all karts were equipped to accommodate 8 year old children. . I wasn't touching the pedals. Some time later, a new track was built near Angoulême. It was created by Christophe Contre, a true enthusiast who appreciates transmission. He took me under his wing, I started competing, reaching the French Championship and international events. It was the time of Formula Kart, a French championship organized by the FFSA, which allowed teenagers to follow a school course in Sport-studies, with a scholarship to access Formula Campus.
