Oh yes it's true ! I don't think about it often, but from birth I was somehow connected to motorsport. (Laughs) My parents weren't interested in racing at all. But because of his job, my father was often asked to officiate at races. When I was 8 years old, he took me with him to a kart race. There, I saw children my age... on the other side of the barriers, on the track! When I got home, I told him: "I want to be like them, drive a kart." At the time, it wasn't easy, because not all karts were equipped to accommodate 8 year old children. . I wasn't touching the pedals. Some time later, a new track was built near Angoulême. It was created by Christophe Contre, a true enthusiast who appreciates transmission. He took me under his wing, I started competing, reaching the French Championship and international events. It was the time of Formula Kart, a French championship organized by the FFSA, which allowed teenagers to follow a school course in Sport-studies, with a scholarship to access Formula Campus.
