Dakar – Martin Prokop joins the list for 2016

Carlos Sainz, Sebastian Loeb, Mikko Hirvonen… and now Martin Prokop. The Czech joins the list of drivers from the WRC to enter the 2016 Dakar held from January 3 to 16 in Argentina and Bolivia.

If the two former world champions will evolve on Peugeot 2008 DKR 2016 and the Finn on a Mini from Team X-Raid, the private pilot will be present with a Toyota Hilux prepared by the Belgian structure Overdrive Racing.

Martin Prokop will take his first steps in Rally-Raid and will practice during a test session planned in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) after the Rally of Catalunya held from October 22 to 25. The Czech will miss the Monte-Carlo Rally scheduled for January 21-24.
