Dayraut shifts gears

Jean-Philippe, you can only be satisfied after this perfect score: two races, two victories?
It was time we managed to perform well, even with ballast. We did not encounter any major problems and made progress on the car, in terms of the engine. We took a step forward which helped us a lot, because there was a lot of tar in particular. For the Trophy, it's very good. We come back to Alain in the general classification. If we consider the counts, we are in the lead with a six-point lead.

Did you find motivation in the disappointment of the last race at Isola 2000?
Isola and Alpe d?Huez, we were quite bad, it?s true and I understood why. On the ice, we were very fast but on the tarmac, we were not at all. We had to react. We did it a little late. It?s my fault because I realized it late. We have already improved in performance at St Dié and we should be much better on this ground in the future, even if, for the spectacle and the spectators, I prefer there to be ice on the circuit.

What are the qualities that make youAlain Prost a formidable opponent facing you?
Alain is really a rascal. When I see the track record he has, I understand why. We think he's not there, he sets the 10th time in the first round, then he comes back and sets the lap record in the second round. I find that he is someone different in terms of his approach and his work.
