Despres leaves Mini and X-Raid
The X-Raid team entry list for the Rally of Morocco 2019 (October 3-9) suggested that Cyril Despres had been sidelined by Sven Quandt. Indeed, the Frenchman, five-time winner of the Dakar motorcycle, is no longer part of the German team and will no longer pilot the Mini JCW Buggy, as he announced on his social networks:

The future destination of Cyril Despres is not yet known. Fifth in the 2019 Dakar with the Mini, the former biker achieved his best performances in the car category with the official team Peugeot (3rd in the 2018 Dakar, double winner of the Silk Way Rally in 2016 and 2017).
