Doriane Pin and Lola Lovinfosse among the FIA Girls on Track – Rising Stars selections
The FIA Girls on Track – Rising Stars operation is in full swing at Paul-Ricard (Var). Of the 20 pilots selected, 14 young girls were chosen to take part in the three-day training session on the Var track.
Among the competitors, we can distinguish two French women: Lola Lovinfosse and Dorian Pin. The first named (15 years old) is evolving in karting at OK level while his compatriot participates in the Renault Clio Cup France in Junior.
Jean Todt, President of the FIA, said: “I had the pleasure of attending the FIA Girls on Track – Rising Stars event at Circuit Paul Ricard today and getting a glimpse into the future of motorsport. The fact that we have welcomed girls from five continents underlines the global appeal of this unique talent detection concept. As I spoke with them today and watched them carry out their many activities, their joy and passion for motorsport shone through.
I am proud that through initiatives such as FIA Girls on Track – Rising Stars, the FIA embraces diversity in motorsport, one of the goals of our #PurposeDriven movement. I would also like to thank all of our partners: Ferrari Driver Academy, Winfield Racing School, Circuit Paul Ricard, Pirelli, Praga Karts, OMP and Motorsport.com for their efforts in making this event such a success. I congratulate all the girls taking part in the program this week and wish them the best for their future careers.”
