The season of Rallycross uses other names for its categories. The Essay round kicked off this new season. SuperCars, the new premier category of the discipline, saw the victory of Jérôme Grosset-Janin. The Clio 3 driver secured a second place and two victories during the qualifying heats to find himself on pole in Final A and win ahead of the Citroën C4 of Philippe Tollemer and the Peugeot 207 by Gaëtan Sérazin. Fabien Pailler and reigning champion Samuel Peu, both driving 207s, complete the top five.
