The prize for the most competitive event of the day goes to Formula Ford Historic. Just as the 24 cars were lining up on the pre-grid, the rain, so feared during the preceding hours, fell.

Fortunately, these cars must use sculpted tires, and were able to operate in mixed conditions. The top 3, made up of Alain Girardet, François Belle and Gislain Genecand, exchanged leadership several times, until Alain Girardet came back in the last turns!

In Formula 3 Classic, Valerio Leone finally overcame Frédéric Rouvier. The double title holder, undefeated since the start of the season, is content with second place. The star of Race 1 was Davide Leone, the offspring of Valerio. Due to a March out of order in qualifying, the Italian fell back at the last minute on a rare Alba AR1 (3 examples), and he was lucky: he finished sixth.

Franck Quagliozzi, for his part, maintained his status as a strong man in the Youngtimers GTI Cup. On his Honda Civic, the Mâconnais beat the small but powerful Citroën AX Coupé of Sylvain Vivas.

On a wet road, the GT Classic and Saloon Cars rounded off the afternoon with an incessant duel between two GTs with different philosophies. Starting from pole, the Porsche 911 993 GT2 of Jérôme Cambier held on against the extremely modified BMW 323 of Alain Derognat, while the third thief, Julien Grenet, went to visit the gravel with his Dodge Viper.
