Jean-Baptise Dubourg wins in race 1 at Isola 2000

He followed the health instructions to the letter: finish as quickly as possible to respect the 18 p.m. curfew in the Alpes-Maritimes.

Under the mist of snow formed by the passage of competitors, Jean-Baptiste Dubourg did not delay to achieve his first victory of the season at Isola 2000 with his Renault Zoe

The DA Racing driver dominated the day's qualifying and made a quick start, leading by more than a second after just a few meters of racing.

Alone in the world, he let his adversaries fight among themselves. Left behind, his teammate Nicolas Cheers was quickly able to get second position, thanks to an error by Jérémy Sarhy, which also damaged his car.

The pilot Sébastien Loeb Racing finished last in the Super Final, but kept second place of the day thanks to very good qualifying.

Behind, Aurélien Panis had to fight to get on the podium, following a maneuver on Quentin Giordano. The son of Olivier Panis still carried out a good operation, alongside Dubourg. The big loser of the day is Yann Ehrlacher. The runner-up in the championship was unable to qualify for the Superfinal and placed third in the final.

He will be keen to make up for it on Saturday. The second day can be followed live video from 10:30 a.m.
