Jean-Baptiste Dubourg champion of the Andros Trophy

Jean-Baptiste Dubourg secured the title of champion of the 2021 Andros Trophy thanks to his victory in race 2 of the final in Val Thorens. He offers himself a fifth crown.

Jean-Baptiste Dubourg champion of the Andros Trophy

This season, there is the champion and the others. Jean-Baptiste Dubourg (DA Racing) dominated head and shoulders the Andros Trophy 2021 to claim his fifth title in the discipline, the first in electric, with one round remaining.

Winner of the first race of the final in Val Thorens on Friday, the driver of the Renault Zoe once again dominated the proceedings in race 2 despite weighing 60 extra kilos.

In an unsurprising final, Dubourg dominated Benjamin Rivière (SP Compétition) and Aurélien Panis (Saintéloc). Despite good consistency, the title holder has never really been able to worry Dubourg during this 2021 season and should rank second in the championship.

During the superfinal of race 2, Nathanaël Berthon resisted the return of Olivier Pernaut to finish fourth, while Enzo Ide completed the top 6. In the top 3 overall, Yann Ehrlacher was the big loser of the day, in failing to qualify for the superfinal.
