The 2021 calendar revisited, the Lohéac round still present

It was expected, it's now official. The 2021 World RX campaign will no longer begin at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) as planned on May 22 and 23 but in Hell (Norway) on June 12 and 13 after the publication of the new calendar.

The rest will take place near Höljes (Sweden) before the meeting in Barcelona (Spain). Still on the program for the 2021 season, the Nürburgring (Germany) will not host one round of the world championship but two in the same weekend (July 31-August 1).

Lohéac for its part retains its historic date, namely the first weekend of September (3-5). The Riga round (Latvia) makes its appearance on the program for the 2021 season. It is scheduled from September 18 to 19 just before the final meeting of the year at Spa-Francorchamps (October 9-10).

Note that the world championship of rallycross will ultimately not travel to South Africa as initially planned. The Kouvola round (Finland) has also been removed from the calendar. There will also be no appointments in Asia or the Middle East as announced last December.

For its big debut, the RX2e, the second division which is going electric this year, will be present at meetings in Norway, Sweden, Spain, Germany, France and Belgium.
