The company behind the Enzo e Dino circuit Ferrari of Imola (Italy), Formula Imola SpA, will change heads from January 1, 2021. Indeed, Uberto Selvatico Estense will give way to two trans figuresalpine of motorsport: Giancarlo Minardi and Aldo Costa.

The two men will partly form the new board of directors. Giancarlo Minardi led his own team on the circuits of F1 and between 1985 2005. “Now begins an adventure that I hope will bring positive results, which we are all waiting for because it is an honor to work for the Imola circuit, explained the 73-year-old former team principal.

I hope to live up to it and repay the trust placed in me. I am very happy to have Aldo Costa on the board, with whom I worked for eight years. »

Indeed, Aldo Costa, before becoming a renowned engineer thanks to a host of titles acquired with Ferrari between 1999 and 2008 as well as with Mercedes from 2015 to 2018, started in F1 with Minardi as suspension manager.

The Imola circuit welcomed Formula 1 back after 14 years of absence in the fall of 2020.
