The new route for the Dakar 2016

The organizers of the Dakar had to review the route for the 2016 edition. The departure will be in Buenos Aires with an arrival in Rosario.

Following the withdrawal from Peru, the organizers of the Dakar had to review the route of the 2016 edition. The starting ceremony will take place on January 2 in Buenos Aires while the start will be given the following day from the capital of Argentina.

The crews will compete in 6 stages passing through Bolivia before returning to Argentina to stop in Salta for the rest day.

The competitors still in the race will then resume the initial program with an arrival in Rosario (Argentina).
