Mads Ostberg joins Citroën in Project E

After confirming his participation in the WRX electric support series, Citroën has confirmed the Norwegian as the starting driver for the return to competition.

Earlier this week, Citroën Racing confirmed its participation in Projekt E, the all-electric support series for the world championship of rallycross. From then on, questions arose regarding the titular pilot. If some hoped to see Sébastien Loëb behind the wheel of the C3 ERX, the chevron brand ultimately did not call the nine-time world rally champion.

This Thursday, Citroën Racing indicated that Mads Ostberg will be the starting driver when the 2020 Projekt E season resumes. Mads Ostberg has an appointment from August 22 to 23 for the doubleheader in Holjies (Sweden), the opportunity for him to measure himself against his new rivals including Ken Block (Ford).
