There will therefore be two winners at the end of this 2018 edition of the Rally from Morocco. On the one hand, Nasser Al-Attiyah, assisted by the Frenchman Matthieu Baumel (Toyota Hilux), triumphed at the finish in Fez, the fifth consecutive success for the tandem in the event.
Al-Attiyah managed his lead in the final part of the rally, notably leaving Carlos Sainz (Mini) win on the last special. Al-Attiyah leads the Mini JCW Rally at the finish Jakub Przyongski more than a quarter of an hour.
But the latter for his part takes the crown of the 2018 FIA Cross-Country World Cup, one round before the end of the season in Portugal in just over a fortnight. The Pole thus succeeds Nasser Al-Attiyah on the list.
Cyril Desprès hoists the Mini JCW Buggy onto the third step of the final podium at half an hour.
