Olivier Panis uncompromising at Isola 2000

For the return of Andros Trophy after the break, Olivier Panis (Audi) showed his muscles this Friday on the Isola 2000 track (Alpes-Maritimes).

The last French winner to date in F1 (Monaco 1996) dominated the qualifying heats in the afternoon, setting his best lap in 2'11"781 in the first heat and relegating his closest pursuer, Franck Lagorce (Andros Sport 01) to almost four tenths.

If Jean-Baptisre Dubourg (Renault Captur) took the super pole to Panis, the latter, who started in a preferential position in the final, easily won in the final, after a lightning first lap.

Second in the final, Franck Lagorce takes the same position overall for the day and precedes Jean-Baptiste Dubourg on the podium. The top 5 is completed by Benjamin Rivière (Peugeot ) and Andréa Dubourg (Renault Captur).

Jean-Baptiste Dubourg took the opportunity to regain the advantage in the general classification against Aurélien Panis (Andros Sport 01).

In Elite, Dorian Boccolacci (BMW) won today ahead of Margot Laffite (Mazda) and Lionel Daziano (Audi).
