Rallycross: the point before the break

In D1, the Sarthe circuit will undoubtedly be the scene of a new duel between Jérôme Grosset-Janin (Renault Clio 3 « WRC ") and Samuel Peu (Peugeot 207 “WRC”) who are engaged in a fierce fight for 1st place in the general classification. Psychological advantage for Grosset-Janin who is the best performer of the season with two victories. Philippe Tollemer (Citroën C4 “WRC”) occupies provisional 3rd place. The best French representative during the French round of the European Championship, on May 22 at Essay, would be able to secure a second victory in the French Championship this year.

Winner of the first three races of the season and reigning French champion, Steven Bossard (Citroën C2 S1600) will be the favorite in D1A. But, leader of the provisional classification thanks to his four podiums in as many races, David Olivier fully intends to hoist his Renault Twingo 2 D1A to the highest step of the podium.

Finally, in D4, Yvonnick Jagu (Audi A3 F2000) will certainly benefit from the absence of Benjamin Godot (Citroën Saxo Maxi F2000), his main pursuer in the title race, to increase his lead.
