Rallycross: everything is at stake in Lavaré

Davy Jeanney, starting the season in the best possible way, had clearly announced his ambitions. Designated successor to Marc Laboulle, the driver of the Citroën WRC » had begun his conquest of the title of French Champion of D1 of Rallycross in the best possible way. With three victories in five events, Jeanney scored big points and secured a solid leadership position in the general classification.

But, for all that, nothing is decided, far from it. While he will undoubtedly be disqualified from the Faleyras round, Davy Jeanney risks losing 11 points. His lead over his rivals would become slim and Jérôme Grosset-Janin, winner in Dreux last month, could benefit from it.

This weekend, in Lavaré, in Sarthe, the controls of the French Championship are at stake. Alongside the duel between Davy Jeanney and Jérôme Grosset-Janin, other drivers will have a card to play. Fabien Pailler, Alexandre Theuil and David Meslier, who are close to the head of the general classification, will have the opportunity to display their motivation and ambitions.

In D1A, the suspense is less intense. Indeed, Steven Bossard, winner of the first five rounds of the season, is favorite in the title race. However, he will have to monitor David Olivier, Adeline Sangnier and Eric Guillemette.
