In quarantine with AUTOhebdo – When Arte looks at rallycross

Who said that motorsport wasn't popular with the mainstream media? As is often the case, the Franco-German channel Arte stands out from its colleagues and offers free replay (until March 31) a 52-minute documentary devoted to rallycross Finnish amateur.

The doc, directed by Jean-Baptiste Mathieu for the GEO Reportage series, follows the organization of a race in the village of Pello (3 inhabitants), bringing together no less than 200 cars aboard patched-up cars. A friendly atmosphere, family support and a passion for mechanics are on the agenda for a documentary which reminds us that no, racing is not just a matter of big money and carbon.

Passionate about the history of motorsport across all disciplines, I learned to read thanks to AUTOhebdo. At least that's what my parents tell everyone when they see my name inside!
