A few days before the Lohéac round (Ille-et-Vilaine), Jérôme Grosset-Janin announced that he was leaving GC Kompetition with whom he had competed in the World RX since the start of the year on one of the two Renault Megane RS RX.

Despite hard work for years to bring myself up to the level of a professional driver engaged in World RX, I would like to inform you that the conditions are not are more united to allow me to finish my season peacefully. »

GCK will very soon announce Jérôme Grosset-Janin's replacement for the Lohéac round held on the weekend of September 1st.

“We would like to thank Jérôme for his contribution to the GC Kompetition Rallycross program and his passion behind the wheel of the Renault Mégane RS RX. However, we unfortunately had to make a decision as a team and discontinue our work with Jérôme. We wish him all the best in his future racing career.”, said Karl O'Sullivan, the team manager.

Jérome Grosset-Janin managed to reach the last step of the podium in Höljes (Sweden), his best result of the season.
