Peugeot Sport surprised earlier in the week by announcing his withdrawal from the World Championship of Rallycross at the end of the season. A decision taken against a backdrop of uncertainty over the future of the electrification of the series, already postponed for a year.
The question then arises of the future of the Team Peugeot Total drivers, starting with Sébastien Loeb. The nine-time world rally champion will see its future in motorsport pass through PSA Motorsport, as confirmed by Jean-Philippe Imparato, director of Peugeot.
The @SebastienLoeb it's too early to say, but he remains a pilot for PSA Motorsport so we will think about the future with him

We will therefore have to wait for the future directions taken by Peugeot to find out a little more about some of the Alsatian's future programs.
If many hope for a gateway to a more complete return in WRC with Citroën, the chevron brand has not yet announced anything in this direction, after having confirmed its duo Sébastien Ogier – Esapekka Lappi for 2019.
Remember that Sébastien Loeb will return to the seat of the C2018 for the third and final time in 3, next weekend on the Catalan roads.
