Kevin Hansen finds success in Nyirad

Kevin Hansen dominated the second TitansRX event in Nyirad (Hungary). The youngest of the siblings finished first in the qualifying heats before winning in the semi-final and final. The Swede beat his victorious brother Timmy the day before to achieve his third success of the season.

The last step of the podium offered a tense duel between Jérôme Grosset-Janin and Toomas Heikkinen. The Frenchman managed to find the opening on the third lap and subsequently resisted the Finn's attacks all the way to the checkered flag to secure his first podium since the inaugural round in Essay (France). Conversely, Toomas Heikkinen no longer missed the podium before the fifth event contested in Montalegre (Portugal).

Abbie Eaton completed the rankings while Andreas Steffen retired with a broken suspension after contact with the safety barrier during the second lap.

Kevin Hansen will enter the final meeting in Estering on October 19 and 20 with a 9-point lead over his brother at the top of the World RX. Toomas Heikkinen is 10 units behind. Jérôme Grosset-Janin is in 4th place.
