The Hansen siblings in GRC Europe in 2019

The expectation regarding the future of the structure of Kenneth Hansen en rallycross will not have lasted very long, in the wake of the announcement of the end of the commitment of Peugeot Sport, with whom the Swedish team had linked its destiny in World RX.

Hansen Motorsport will be entered this year in GRC Europe, a new series promoted by Max Pucher, and will logically entrust its two cars to Timmy and Kevin Hansen, son of Kenneth.

A barely veiled allusion to the World RX's desire to go electric from 2021, a change in technology which has not found sufficient resonance with the major manufacturers Peugeot, Audi or Volkswagen, who have all stopped or implemented pause their World Cup program for 2019.

In GRC, the Hansen brothers should compete at the wheel of the Pantera RX6, powered by a 530 hp engine block and offering 750 Nm of torque. Remember that Alexander Wurz will also be there for this inaugural campaign which will begin on June 29 and 30 in Dreux in France.
