Lavaré: Laboulle on his cloud

At the wheel of his Citroën Xsara WRC, Marc Laboulle once again hovered over the debates. Picard set the best time in the first two qualifying heats, while seeing off Davis Meslier (Renault Clio II RS WRC) maintain the comparison. The two drivers were also on the first row at the start of the A final. Laboulle got the best start, before going sideways after 300 meters of racing, while managing to correct his trajectory to prevent David Meslier from passing. As the laps went by, Picard was able to increase his lead, to achieve a deserved success. Behind, Jérôme Grosset-Janin made a superb start to climb into third position, a place that was then hard to defend.

In the other divisions, a new breath has blown through Lavaré. In division 1A, David Deslandes won ahead of Davy Jeanney and Samuel Peu, usually celebrating. In division 3, Navail dominated Saunois and Wilt and, in division 4, David Vincent beat Dominique Gerbaud and Antoine Massé. Finally, in the Logan Cup, Adrien Cazalas won. These four winners achieved their first success of the season, Lavaré's quick route allowing the cards to be redistributed for the rest of the season.
