Oliver Solberg and De Ridder champions of RallyX Nordic

At just 17 years old, Oliver Solberg won the Rallyx Nordic title after the final round in Tierp (Sweden). After winning at Arvika and Grenland, the son of three-time world champion Petter Solberg won the last event at the wheel of the DS3 Supercar with which he preceded Robin Larsson (Audi A1) and Philip Gehrman (Volkswagen Beetle).

Oliver Solberg took advantage of the poor performance of Oliver Eriksson (Ford Fiesta) who was leading the championship before entering the last round of the season. The resident of his father's team Olsbergs MSE only finished 6th after taking last place in the final.

The new RallyX Nordic champion had, however, had a difficult start to the weekend with a puncture in Q2 and a broken suspension in Q3. The young Norwegian, however, managed to place second behind Thomas Bryntesson (Ford Fiesta) before winning his semi-final.

Guillaume de Ridder celebrated his Supercar Lites title. After winning the first three rounds of the season, the Belgian secured the title before even competing in the semi-finals. He remains in the fight for the RX2 title against Oliver Eriksson before the final which will be contested in Cape Town (South Africa) on the weekend of November 24.
