Oreca will offer a nice package for the E-WRX

As confirmed by the FIA ​​at its latest World Council last week, the E-WRX will come into force from 2020 and will be contested on common chassis supplied by Oreca.

The French manufacturer, which won a call for tenders to have a contract with the World Championship of Rallycross until 2023, will thus create a common package. Competitors will notably receive a carbon monocoque, the rollbar, the running gear, the brakes and even the steering.

It's a great challenge and a discipline that is close to the heart of Oreca, which is currently involved in it through its engine department. This project fits perfectly into our diversification strategy. Our activity as a manufacturer and team in Endurance remains the heart of the reactor, but around this, we are working to diversify our activities towards other universes. We can't wait to start working with the FIA ​​technical team and with Williams who will supply the batteries. »
