Petter Solberg will do the entire ERX season

Petter Solberg had announced that he was interested in the European Championship of rallycross as well as the X-Games held across the Atlantic. The 2003 world champion WRC, which recently established itself in Rally historic of Sweden, confirmed that he was committed to the entire season of the European discipline where he cut his teeth by starting his career in motorsport. The Norwegian, who will defend the colors of his own structure, will drive a 3hp Citroën DS600 Supercar in nine of the ten events of the season, the latter not having been able to be ready in time for the first round contested this weekend in Grande -Brittany. But the former Ford driver should be there for the French event at Lohéac at the end of August.

“I don’t do things by halves”, commented Petter Solberg. “When I was thinking about my program, I knew that the RX Championship was the one for me. This is going to be a hell of a season and I want my team to be a part of it. I'm sorry I can't be at the season launch, but I'm working almost every hour to be ready. It's fantastic to be back competing with my team. I can't wait to get behind the wheel. After spending 15 years in 300hp cars, having double the power will make me smile. »
