Rallycross – Philippe Maloigne confirmed at G-Fors

G-Fors has revealed the identity of its third driver for the 2018 season. Philippe Maloigne will be entered in the French Championship of Rallycross on a Renault Clio RS RX and will see its program completed by three entries in World RX where the team will be present with Guerlain Chicherit entered in a Megane, while Jean-Baptiste Dubourg will compete in a Clio in Euro RX.

“Having climbed the ranks from fourth to third place in the Championship in recent years, now my goal is to win the French rallycross title, confirms Philippe Maloigne. I am certain that signing with G-Fors and driving the Clio, which they built this winter, is the best way to achieve this goal. »

“Stéphane (Orré, the technical director and co-founder of G-Fors) and his team are extremely professional and I am sure that they have built a car capable of outperforming the others this year,” added Philippe Maloigne.

The new G-Fors recruit made his Supercar debut in 2015 after taking seventh place in the S1600 class in the French Championship. The Frenchman has since offered himself several participations in the European Championship, in Spain and in Italy, while focusing mainly on his national championship.
