The Austrian company will take care of the supply of powertrains in Projekt E from 2020. Tests with three different bodies are planned for 2019.

Stard will equip Projekt E's electric cars

The World Championship rallycross (World RX) will go electric from 2020. The Projekt E category will evolve on the sidelines of World RX during certain European rounds, as the news of April 2 revealed. But since May 22, the identity of the supplier of electric powertrains has been known. It's Stard. 

This partnership was established thanks to the desire of the Austrian structure to work around an electric car project. The Hiper, an electric Supercar based on Peugeot 207 S2000, left the workshops of Manfred Stohl in 2017.
