The boss in Sweden is called Timmy Hansen. Beaten by his brother Kevin and Johan Kristoffersson in Barcelona last July, Kenneth Hansen's eldest son woke up in Höljes, the local stopover for the family.

Present among the favorites, the 2019 world champion easily won his ticket to the final by finishing 2nd in the qualifying heats and winning his semi-final ahead of Kevin Abbring. Fate then turned in his favor when Johan Kristoffersson saw his chances of qualifying go up in smoke due to a puncture.

Opposed to Kevin in the final, Timmy Hansen made an excellent start which allowed him to immediately take the reins of the race. Chased by his younger brother, the Swede quickly widens the gap to protect himself from a possible attack. Ultimately, he was never caught and thus won his first victory of the season, the 11th of his career.

Thanks to this success, Timmy Hansen takes control of the championship ahead of his brother Kevin. Absent from the final, Johan Kristoffersson is in 5th place, 20 lengths behind the leader.
