Timur Timerzyanov retains his Rallycross RX title

After having animated the Lohéac circuit, the competitors of the Rallycross RX competed last weekend in Estering where the last round of the season took place. Timur Timerzyanov did not give up by securing the points for fourth place in the Final to win his second title in a row. " I am so happy. I wasn't hoping to compete in the Championship again at the start of the year but I wanted it more than anything. It's fantastic to have been able to achieve this. We approached this weekend like any other of the season, the most important thing being consistency and stability,” commented the double reigning champion.

Davy Jeanney ends the season by collecting the honorary title of vice-champion, 29 points behind Timur Timerzyanov. The Citroën C4 driver was unable to fight until the end after failing to reach the podium during the second semi-final. Timmy Hansen follows in third position after also failing to reach the semi-final stage. Andreas Bakkerud, the winner of the Lohéac event, distinguished himself by finishing the German event in second place and taking fourth place in the Championship with 12 points ahead of Liam Doran. Alexander Hvaal concludes the season in sixth position after winning the last two Finals of the season in Austria and Germany. Petter Solberg ranks eighth in the Championship, nine points behind Anton Marklund.
