Toomas Heikkinen first winner in TitansRX
At the wheel of the Pantera RX6, the TitansRX peloton will meet this weekend on the Essay track (Orne) for the debut of this new championship promoted by Max Pucher.
The first round played yesterday saw the victory of Finnish Toomas Heikkinen, already at the forefront during the qualifying rounds. “Topi”, winner in Q1, before taking 2nd and 7th places in Q2 and Q3, dominated respectively by Kevin Hansen then Hayden Paddon, then won the final ahead of Kevin Hansen and Jérôme Grosset-Janin.
The Frenchman gave in in the second round to the attack of the younger Hansen but retained the last step of the podium in this first confrontation against Hayden Paddon. Note that Timmy Hansen or Nelson Piquet Jr were unable to reach the semi-finals.
The second round of the championship takes place this Sunday
