The Swede, who is only one point ahead of Andreas Bakkerud (Audi) and eight over Kevin Hansen (Peugeot), won Q1 before being mixed up with his rivals in Q2. By dint of pulling each other's legs, the three contenders achieved timid times.
Only 10th in this Q2, Andreas Bakkerud lost ground (6th, behind Kevin Hansen). The beginner Guillaume de Ridder (Renault) took the opportunity to achieve his best session of the year with the second time.
His teammate within the GCK Academy team Cyril Raymond (Renault) was purely and simply disqualified from Q2 for hitting the blocks three times delimitation of the track. Other zero points, in Q1 this time, for Liam Doran (Audi), author of an engine change in the morning and absent from this race.
The rest of this 2019 World RX final will be held on Sunday November 10 from 9 a.m. French time and will be followed live on video.
