World RX – Liam Doran and JRM separate

The European vice-champion of Rallycross 2012 finds itself on foot. Liam Doran, aligned since the start of the 2016 World RX season on the Mini JCW Supercar from JRM Racing, will not continue its adventure with the British team, which confirmed the brutal separation, with a press release which remains no less abrupt.

“The agreement with the team has been terminated, explains James Rumsey, Team Principal of JRM. This is an internal matter and no further comment will be made at this stage. » Currently ninth in the general classification with a fifth place as best result at Hockenheim in Germany, Doran had moved from a Citroën DS3 aligned with Petter Solberg's structure in 2015, to the seat of the British Mini, without however regularly playing first roles since the season kicked off.

Although the team has indicated that it is continuing its preparations for the next Canadian round in Trois-Rivières (August 6-7), no replacement driver has yet been designated.
