World RX – Mattias Ekström will defend his chances at Estering

Mattias Esktröm will be there in Estering (Germany) on October 15 and 16. The EKS pilot boss will be able to release himself from his obligations by DTM where the final will take place the same weekend in Hockenheim since he is fighting for the world title this year. The Scandinavian will be replaced by René Rast who took his first steps in the discipline by replacing Adrien Tambay at Zandvoort (Netherlands).

Mattias Ekström leads World RX with a ten-point lead over Petter Solberg with three events remaining. His EKS team is 21 points ahead of the Team Peugeot -Hansen.
