World RX – Pailler Competition package for Lohéac

While the Pailler Compétition was due to compete in the Lohéac event (Ille-et-Vilaine) from September 2 to 4, the team decided to withdraw at the end of the round of the French Championship in Kerlabo (Côtes-d 'Armor) which encountered reliability problems.

“Even if we demonstrated that our cars were easily among the fastest in the French Championship in terms of pure speed, we however suffered multiple problems linked to the reliability of our engines”, explained Jean-Luc Pailler, the Team Principal of the team of the same name.

“Once again, and while we had the possibility of playing for the final victory during the last meeting of the French championship played in Kerlabo, our propellers showed weaknesses. We have identified what could be the origin of these repeated problems, and from now on, we will take advantage of the coming weeks to make the new parts which will equip our engines from the resumption of the French championship more reliable. added Jean-Luc Pailler.

“After long discussions with our partners, we have made the decision to skip the Lohéac stage next September. There was no question of us rushing, when we would not have had the material time to present ourselves at Lohéac with the certainty of being as competitive as we wish. Lohéac is a prestigious event, and it is not possible for our structure to be satisfied with a simple role of extra”, specified the director of Pailler Compétition.
