Three teams could be crowned before this season finale in the World Championship. Rallycross. Olsbergs MSE took the lead ahead of Marklund Motorsport, the Team Peugeot -Hansen still has a chance to win the crown. However, the two Peugeot 208s of Timmy Hansen and Timur Timerzyanov quickly lost hope of winning the title during the intermediate rounds. The Ford Fiestas even saw the title come closer when the engine of Toomas Heikkinen's Volkswagen Polo died in the fourth round.
