WorldRX – Petter Solberg concludes in style in Argentina

Already crowned World Champion since the Italian round of Franciacorta, the Norwegian Petter Solberg closed the inaugural season of the World Championship of Rallycross by a fifth success this year during the final in San Luis in Argentina. Dominant since the first qualifying rounds, the former 2003 world rally champion won his Citroën DS3 Supercar ahead of the Team Olsbergs MSE Ford Fiestas of Latvian Reinis Nitiss and Kevin Eriksson.

Toomas Heikkinen (Volkswagen Polo – Marklund Motorsport), the last representative of the German manufacturer in the final, after the elimination of Anton Marklund in the semi-final, could do nothing to prevent Olsbergs MSE from winning the Team title.
