Sacha Fenestraz will return to the seats in IMSA

Deprived of competition in Japan in Super Formula and Super GT due to the restrictions still in force to enter the territory in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, Sacha fenestraz will put an end to the long period of competition drought affecting him this year.

The Franco-Argentinian will compete the Lime Rock Park round this weekend in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, at the wheel of a Toyota GR Supra GT4 from Toyota Gazoo Racing Latin America. The team behind it is Riley Motorsports, a team accustomed to IMSA rounds across the Atlantic.

Fenestraz will ride in tandem with Alfredo Najri, 7 months after his last appearance in the race.

Exiled to Japan after winning Formula Renault Eurocup in 2017, and having competed for a year in the FIA F3 Europe in 2018, Sacha Fenestraz won F3 Japan in 2019 before completing a double Super Formula / Super GT program in 2020 with Kondo Racing and Team Tom's.
