The Hansen brothers jumped for joy on the roof of their Peugeot 208 WRX at the end of the French round of the World Championship rallycross (World RX) in Lohéac (Ille-et-Vilaine). Timmy indeed won his third victory in 2019, ahead of Anton Marklund (Renault) and his little brother Kevin Hansen.
“Coming to Lohéac, where there are large crowds, is special, explained the winner after the finish. From a championship point of view, I experienced two setbacks with almost zero points in Abu Dhabi then Trois-Rivières (Canada). I'm happy to be back in the leading group. »
Indeed, if the leader, Andreas Bakkerud (Audi), fifth, remains in front, he feels the breath of the Hansen family. This is now only two points behind the Norwegian!
Timmy Hansen dedicates his victory to Anthoine Hubert:
“I just want to say that also this is in memory of Anthoine, who passed away yesterday. As a racing driver, you feel it and it’s a big loss for the whole sport.”#WorldRX #LoheacRX pic.twitter.com/P78GnZp5HI

“The one who will be champion will be the driver who best resists the pressure during the next two rounds”, estimates Timmy Hansen.
The best representative is Cyril Raymond (Renault, 15th).
