Andros Trophy: Dayraut wants revenge

Six-time winner of the Andros Trophy, Jean-Philippe Dayraut announced its presence for the next edition. The Toulouse man had however declared that he no longer wanted to participate in the Trophy, following his disqualification this year from Lans-en-Vercors which he considered unfair and which caused him to lose the title to the benefit of Jean-Baptiste Dubourg.

« Despite my decision, only one person could make me change my mind, it was Roland Pelras (BMW Toulouse dealership. Editor’s note), he says. I also do it for all our supporters, partners and friends who would like a rematch with, why not, a clean victory. »

Dayrault wishes to enter two BMW M2s through BMW Pelras who led him to victory from 2008 to 2015.

« We won the Andros trophy with Jean-Philippe several times and with different cars and teams., comments Roland Pelras. Despite the difficulties encountered during our last participation, the excitement around the end of season battle aroused enormous interest and support like never before from our supporters, now eager for a revenge. »

It is now up to Max Mamers to validate the presence of Jean-Philippe Dayraut at the next edition of the Andros Trophy which, remember, is by invitation.
