World RX – Chicherit back with JRM Racing

Guerlain Chicherit will return to World RX after making promising debuts in the discipline in 2015 in Lohéac (Ille-et-Vilaine) and Franciacorta (Italy). The Frenchman will ride the JRM Racing Mini RX in France (September 3 and 4), in Barcelona (September 17 and 18) and in Estering (October 15 and 16).

“I’m really looking forward to returning to World RX with JRM, declared Guerlain Chicherit. We explored many options since Lohéac last year and initially considered playing the entire European season. Rallycross Championship in 2016. However, I preferred to wait until the new engine was developed on the two JRM cars. I hope to play a role in developing the car to compete in a full championship next year. »

The pressure was very strong at Lohéac but he used it to his advantage. »

“He has to adjust his driving to the development of the 2l engine when he returns to the track in a few weeks, but I am sure he will get used to it quickly”, added James Rumsey.
