World RX – Nitiss and All-Inkl part ways

The French round of the World Championship Rallycross, scheduled this weekend in Lohéac in Brittany, will mark the end of the collaboration between Reinis Nitiss and the German team All-Inkl Münnich Motorsport.

The former Team Olsbergs MSE driver joined the ranks of René Münnich's team at the start of the season, with the aim of developing the brand new Seat Ibiza Supercar. But the lackluster results recorded since the start of the championship in Portugal have taken a toll on the alliance between the driver and his team.

“Before the season, I knew that developing a new car would be a big challenge, says Nitiss. During the season we made a lot of progress and gained a lot of knowledge and experience.

Unfortunately, all this did not bring the results we hoped for, so I decided to turn to the 2017 season. I would like to thank René Münnich and the entire All-Inkl.com Münnich Motorsport team for the cooperation and the work accomplished to move forward with this project. »

The All-Inkl team will continue the development of the Seat Ibiza Supercar and confirm the identity of future drivers in the near future, but Timo Scheider, Audi driver in DTM, should be one of them. For his part, Reinis Nitiss will indeed be present at his home event on the weekend of October 2 in Riga.
