World RX – Peugeot-Hansen wants to keep the pace

Without the penalty imposed on Timmy hansen following his maneuver in the last corner of the Höljes final in Sweden, the Team Peugeot -Hansen would have arrived in Canada crowned with two consecutive victories after the success of Davy Jeanney earlier in Estering, Germany.

“Given that our drivers were the first to cross the finish line in the two previous finals, this season, we are approaching this Canadian event with top motivation and state of mind. »
comments Kenneth Hansen, Team Principal of the team.

Faced with the 208 Franco-Swedish Supercars, Petter Solberg (Citroën DS3) will be the man to beat again. The reigning world champion and solid leader of the championship with 44 points ahead of Johan Kristoffersson (VW Polo), won on this track last year, initiating a series of three victories in a row which would lead him towards the world title.

Two Canadian drivers will also be at the start in the JRM Racing Mini RXs with Patrick carpentier, former pilot IndyCar, sixth on this same route last year, and Louis-Philippe Dumoulin, outgoing champion of the NASCAR Canadian.
