World RX – Robin Larsson returns for the season

Robin Larsson will return to his Audi A1 Supercar in 2016 with a full program across all 12 rounds of the World RX calendar. With his private team, the Swede managed to finish in eighth place in the Championship last year after notably securing a podium in Hell (Norway) and a victory in Rosario (Argentina).

“We have improved certain parts of the car, this should show on the track”, commented the 2014 Euro RX champion. “I also learned quite a bit with the circuits because some were new to me last year. It will be useful to have already ridden on all the tracks on the calendar. »

Despite everything, Robin Larsson maintains measured objectives in the face of imposing opponents. “Regularity is very important. Although everyone wants to win every race, strategy is essential to success. I wanted to win as much as possible at the start of last season, but I started to drive more thoughtfully in the second part and it worked.", insisted the 23-year-old Scandinavian.

“All the teams have progressed and the season promises to be very difficult. We are a small team compared to other structures. I will have to be at my best in all the events”, specified Robin Larsson.

The 2016 World RX season will begin the weekend of April 17 in Montalegre (Portugal).
