WorldRX – Two Audi S3 RXs for Münnich Motorsport

Appeared in Estering in Germany, then in Francicorta in Italy in 2014, the Audi S3 RX from Münnich Motorsport will be hired full time in 2015 in World Championship Rallycross. Two copies will be given to a duo that has not yet been confirmed.

“WorldRX will be our main program this year, indicated the boss René Münnich, who drove one of Münnich Motorsport's two Chevrolet Cruze TC1s in the WTCC last year. We will use this year to learn and then we want to fight for the title in 2016. We are excited about the evolution of rallycross and the fact that we can develop our own car, which makes this championship so special. Even without a good result in Germany, we saw that our car was fast enough to get into the top 10.”

The Audi S3 RX, which is part of the list of eligible cars to evolve in Rallycross, has already evolved well since its first appearance. “We have a different engine as well as a new gearbox, new differentials and new brakes since Estering,” continues Münnich. We have also changed the geometry of the rear axle and we have a new weight distribution. »

The first round of World RX 2015 will take place from April 24 to 26 in Montalegre, Portugal.
