WorldRX – Heikkinen: “Be ready from the start”

Beaten to the championship last year by Petter Solberg, Toomas Heikkinen will once again be one of the Norwegian's main opponents at the start of the second season of the World Championship Rallycross in Montalegre in Portugal (April 24-26). After taking part this winter in Andros Trophy in France, the Finn found the seat of his Volkswagen Polo Supercar in Italy, to work on the first developments on his mount.

“We will drive as much as possible before Portugal, specifies the 23-year-old pilot. We try to be 100% ready for the first race. There are five events very close together (including the first four in five weeks, Editor’s note) and so it is very important to be ready from the start. The easier points could come then if other drivers have problems. »

Heikkinen will be assisted at Marklund by the former double Junior champion WRC Swedish PG Andersson, a duo which promises according to the vice-world champion.
