Alfa Romeo 33 – finally titled!

Expected during the 1972 season, the new flat 12-cylinder engine only took to the track at the end of the year in Balocco (Italy), in a TT3 chassis. To develop the new car, Autodelta, led by technical director Carlo Chiti, engineer Giovanni Marelli and sporting director Martino Severi, is reinforced with French technicians: the SERA-CD firm (Charles Deutsch automobile design and production company.
